Crescent Canna is a New Orleans and Charlotte-based cannabis company that offers high-potency CBD products and legal THC edibles. Our brand is growing rapidly so we're looking to expand our team.

We are seeking a qualified individual who possesses a keen interest in production lab work and chemistry. The right candidate will have the ability to work independently on high tech equipment safely and efficiently, and will be responsible for assisting the lab manager in all day-to-day functions of running the laboratory, including commercial production, filling, and packaging of all products produced in the laboratory.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ensuring consistency and efficacy of products through quality control testing and procedures
• Performing all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility
• Completing the sanitation of all production equipment and tools including workspaces, lab equipment, containers, and appliances
• Assisting with the creation of batch production records and labels in accordance with set standards
• Assisting with weighing, packaging/filling, labeling, and documentation of all products, as well as the tracking of batch numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates
• Following standard operating procedures
• Minimizing product and ingredient loss and contamination
• Meeting department goals around efficiency, yields, and cost

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in MS Office

EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma required
• 1+ year working in production laboratory or pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry preferred, but not required
• Degree in chemistry, biology or related field preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Charlotte, NC 28216: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
