We are looking for an individual that is motivated, dependable with a clean MVR to work on our Landscape Outdoor Lighting Team overseeing the installation, maintenance and repairs for both commercial and residential properties. This is a great opportunity for someone that is experienced with low voltage electrical, detail orientated, organized, with great communication computer skills and a clean MVR. The ideal candidate would be capable of driving a company vehicle, working independently and/or with a crew.

Salary Requirements: $20.00 - $22.00 / per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Install outdoor lighting systems, low voltage electric wiring and light repairs to Designscapes Colorado standards.
  • Handle construction materials onsite and in storage areas.
  • Operate small equipment, pneumatic hammers and tampers.
  • Dig trenches and level earth in accordance to specifications.
  • Sweep walkways and patios of debris and keep the job site clean.
  • Assist with laying out wiring and fixtures.
  • Replace Install mulch around plant materials.
  • Transport tools and materials such as shovels, wire, light fixtures to various job sites.
  • Perform preventative and regular maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Assist with yearly maintenance of existing systems.
  • Works closely with other team members to reach goals in productivity.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.

Training, support and safety:

  • Work closely with other team members on training, accountability and safety.
  • Wear Safety PPE and ensure job site safety for all crew members.
  • Implement and adhere to the highest standards of quality workmanship.

Snow Removal

  • During winter months when lighting projects are on hold, must be available 24/7 to assist in removing snow from various industrial and residential properties and complete.
  • Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Low Voltage electrical a plus.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proper lifting techniques must be followed.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks of all types.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices.
  • Self-motivation skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities a plus.
  • Ability to work under moderately high stress situations.
  • Tremendous presence of mind in case of accidents.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Professional and positive attitude required.
