La Vida Counseling continues to grow and has 2 openings: one in Matthews and one at the Waxhaw location! We are seeking a full time clinician and will be classified as a W2 employee. This is a salary position with 40 hours per week. If you are self-motivated, independent and willing to be a part of a growing practice, this will be an exciting opportunity for you! Needs/Requirements:

• This position is for provisionally licensed candidates in NC: LCMHC (A), LCAS (A), LCSW (A), LMFT (A).
• There is one remote work day!
• Applicant must be willing to commit to up to 40 hours a week
• Must have a clear background check
• Be in good standing with Licensure board
• This position requires sitting for long periods of time meeting with clients, but we do encourage for clinicians to stretch when possible.
• Comfortable conducting telehealth sessions with easy to use platform
• LCAS a plus but not required
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required

Duties/Responsibilities

• Good time management skills (client callbacks, replies to emails, progress notes etc.)
• Complete assessments, treatment plans and progress notes on time
• Be willing to communicate with other providers as needed for coordination of care
• Comply with Confidentiality laws and abide by ethical standards of your licensing board
• Demonstrate professional communication with client and staff
• Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Google calendar and Excel
• Willingness to learn our current EHR system (Our EHR has great customer support, video tutorials and super user friendly)
• It is important to be on time to client appointments
