Position Overview
The Account Executive represents Aveanna in the community to assist those in need of home health care or hospice services by assessing those needs and how Aveanna services can support the need. The position will drive sales and marketing efforts in a defined territory and be part of a comprehensive team to generate referrals. The AE will serve as a resource in the community to referral sources such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and physician/doctor’s offices by conducting in-services, educational presentations, and direct selling discussions, as well as hosting and attending events that spotlight our services to those customers.

Essential Job Functions
Meet or exceed monthly qualified admission targets
Maintain a professional business demeanor at all times as an agent of Aveanna
Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources through ongoing assessments
Design a regular cadence to visits with referral sources within the defined geographic area
Participate in regular meetings with assigned location(s) to establish strong partnerships and open lines of communication relevant to admissions and discharges
Develop strategic business relationships with referral sources and customers within the community to increase volume and grow branch census.
Serve as a resource and partner with internal and external customers to provide timely and appropriate solutions to clinical service needs

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Active and unencumbered Clinical License (RN, PT, OT) in the state of the territory assigned
Minimum of two (2) years healthcare, home health, or hospice sales experience required
Knowledge of standards of practice for all services provided
Valid and current driver’s license with evidence of automobile liability insurance

Preferences
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree preferred
Established community relationships/connections/referrals (book of business) desired

Physical Demands
Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English

Must have visual and hearing acuity
Ability to drive independently in all types of weather conditions

Environment
This role provides autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to set your own schedule but generally performs duties and accessibility during agency operating hours.
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
This job primarily operates in the “field” and not “behind a desk.” This role will require the use of standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
