LPN or RN Nurse (Full-time) - Assisted Living / End of Life

Requirement: This position requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing and must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.

Reflections, End of Life Care Suites, a part of the Three Links Community is located in the historic downtown of Northfield. Three Links is a progressive health care provider for older adults in the Northfield area. Located just south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, the campus includes Skilled Nursing, Respite Care, Memory Care, End of Life Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living, as well as services to the greater community.

LPN/RN Responsibilities: This position is accountable for coordinating resident care and required documentation according to established policies, procedures and standard of practice. May assume some responsibility in directing personnel. Must foster teamwork and contribute to the facility goals and mission.

The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse will also ensure that services are in compliance with current regulations and standards. Must be able to relate professionally with clients, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members. This position requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing and must be currently licensed as a LPN in the state of Minnesota. Certificate in CPR and Heimlich is required. Experience in medical, surgical, mental health, or geriatric nursing is preferred and requires an understanding of the fundamentals of nursing practice and the ability to apply them to the geriatric setting. A willingness to perform direct care activities is necessary. Patience, tact, respect, courtesy, and kindness are required when dealing with residents, visitors, and other staff, as well as the ability to treat patients’ information confidentially.
