Description:

The Maintenance Materials Planner will support production operations and be responsible for the scheduling and monitoring of all items to support the Maintenance team needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and processing all orders for the Maintenance department.
  • Sourcing parts if not stocked.
  • Setting up minimum and maximum parts and supplies based on usage.
  • Monitoring CMM (Computerized Maintenance Management system) and closing out work orders.
  • Preventative maintenance monitoring and scheduling – filing once complete.
  • Monitoring maintenance budget and making suggestions where applicable.
  • Generating autonomous maintenance forms and distributing appropriately.
  • Partnering with Finance to set up new maintenance vendors.
  • Reviewing and approving all maintenance invoices in approval system (Basware).
  • Monitoring all fluids leaving the building with waste management and monitoring current stock to avoid overflow.
  • Scheduling paint filter pick up monthly.
  • Supporting maintenance staff and monitoring requests.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and/or Training:

  • Experience with computer systems.
  • Proven written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • High-energy, positive attitude that focuses on provide top-notch service to internal and external customers.
  • Desire to learn; streamline and improve processes where possible.
  • Ability to procure and source parts.
  • Inventory control knowledge.

Technology/Equipment: Solid knowledge of MS Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel).
