Job description

Actively searching to fill full-time, maintenance technician positions for multiple residential properties in the Lake Charles area. Our maintenance technicians are responsible for the overall quality of residential work orders that require the skill and working knowledge to act with an uncompromised professional and ethical capacity. Must have the ability to organize, perform and complete all levels of residential, property maintenance which requires a high level of time management skills to prioritize the work day.

Requirements must include the following, but not limited to:

• Reliable transportation and personal, handyman style tools (manual and power).
• On-call rotation for after hours maintenance emergency work orders.
• Coordinate with operational staff, property managers, leasing agents and tenants to complete all work orders and have them properly recorded in the allotted time frame.
• Minor electrical, plumbing and roofing repair.
• Control property maintenance supplies, tools and bench stock maintained on-site.
• Implement and follow through with a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensuring that building storage areas and crawl spaces remain locked and secured when not in use.
• Inspecting and keeping the grounds free from debris and deficiencies.
• Working with property staff to uphold the value of curb appeal and overall property safety inspections.
