Spanish Bilingual - Marketing Director for Bank

The Marketing Director plans and directs the Bank’s marketing initiatives.

The duties listed below may include only some responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross-training across other departments, as necessary.

  • Plans and directs the Bank’s marketing initiatives
  • Provides oversight of advertising and promotion activities, including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
  • Develops and executes strategic, comprehensive tactical, and long-range marketing plans to achieve company objectives for growth, sales and revenue objectives, products, and services
  • Manages the marketing operating budget
  • Determines vendor partners and negotiates contract terms and conditions for major marketing services
  • Serves as the liaison with outside agencies regarding ongoing promotional campaigns
  • Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and provides data to executive management
  • Manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating, and counseling of reporting staff
  • Participates in job-specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
  • Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
  • Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A self-starting team player who possesses a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (a Master’s degree in Marketing is preferred)
  • 7-10 years of previous experience in Marketing, preferably for a large financial institution with multiple locations and different markets
  • Knowledge of general bank operations and workflow
  • PC literacy and knowledge of spreadsheet and word-processing software
  • Demonstrated customer and human relations skills in previous positions
  • Flexibility, professionalism, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a MUST HAVE

ORGANIZATION

  • This position reports to the Bank President
  • This position oversees the Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, Community Relations Coordinator, and Mascots

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
