Bais Yaakov High School of the Twin Cities is a faith-based, all-girls school with a united atmosphere among staff members and a supportive administration. We are seeking a math teacher to join our staff for the 2022-2023 academic year. Class session runs 3:30-4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday. Algebra 2, high track, very motivated students. Small class size. Licensure not requirement, experience in the field of education preferred. Flexibility in curriculum, and in the school calendar. Good opportunity for teachers who would like a non pressured position with minimal clerical work, or for teachers who would like to supplement current working hours. We require our teachers to have strong classroom management skills, along with the ability to build rapport with students. Must have effective communication skills and strong leadership qualities. Teachers play vital roles in school that go beyond classroom teaching. Salary will be determined based on amount of class sessions taught a day.
Responsibilities:
Manage and educate students in a classroom setting-
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans -
Adhere to established teaching curriculum including discipline and classrooms policies -
Maintain positive relationships with students and parents -
Document and share student grades and evaluations
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Other responsibilities:

Monthly meetings (30 minutes during school hours once a month) -
Weekly forms -
Mid-year summaries -
End-of year summaries -
Report card grading -
Arranging for substitutes in a timely manner with material planned
Communication with administrators
