Work Hours: Schedules vary between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. 1 weekend day required (8 hours)

Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed: Huntington Station, West Islip, Jericho, Plainview.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients and visitors with a smile and friendly tone
• Checks patients in and out of the clinic
• Verifies patient identity and insurance
• Takes copayments in accordance with patients' insurance plans
• Schedules patient appointments and maintains the schedule as adjustments are required
• Answers phones promptly and professionally
• Transfers calls or takes messages appropriately
• Displays complete understanding of patient check-in forms and clearly describes information to patients and visitors as needed
• Calls patients to confirm future appointments
• Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years customer service experience
• Proficiency in general computer use and Microsoft Office

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for New York residents is $16.00 to $27.31.
