Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Warehouse Associate, who will be looking after warehouse operations, space planning, inventory, shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing forklift Operators to ensure safe, collaborative, organized and efficient performance, ensuring the warehouse and yard spaces are highly organized, supervising of loading and unloading trucks, checking for missing and reporting damaged merchandise, resolving work related problems and working closely with Warehouse Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of warehouse experience (mandatory)
- Forklift Operator Certificate
- Superior customer service and communication skills required
- Previous experience in transportation/logistics an asset
- Must be well organized with good time management skills and attention to details
- Good computer skills (MS Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to repeatedly lift over 50 lbs
- High school Diploma or equivalent education
