We help guide our patients through the exam experience providing friendly chairside assistance with the doctor, guiding them to optical for new eyewear, and coordinating their contact lens experience. Our technicians must possess excellent patient service and conversation skills, having the ability to connect and interact with every patient during their visit. Applicants must enjoy people and LOVE helping patients each day. Qualities we desire in our technicians include kindness, friendliness, the ability to see the good in everyone, perseverance when the days are busy and challenging, and great time management skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent detail. Be available to work a schedule surrounding clinic hours of operation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our technicians work closely with our doctors to provide the most comprehensive eye care and highest level of patient care. It is the responsibility of the technician team to perform a wide variety of duties including:
- pre-testing procedures
- maintaining patients medical health records
- performing specialized testing
- scribing for the doctors
- chair side assistance to the doctors
- ordering contact lenses
- patient education
- corresponding with outside providers
- assisting your entire tech team
