Position Description:
- Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.
- Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
- Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships to maximize the achievement of distribution goals.
- Develops, recommends, and implements operational enhancements for growing the business and reducing operating costs.
- Drives continuous improvement.
- Drives the execution of operational improvement regarding performance metrics.
- Manages Operations' workload/capacity daily.
- Oversees the development of supervisors.
- Provides overall direction to shift supervisors and leads daily.
- Providing service to internal and external customers.
- Develop and comply with all internal and external safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in supply chain or related field.
- Understanding of finance and financial reports.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and develop skills of direct reports (hourly and professional).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Conflict Management/Resolution experience.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams.
- Strong business acumen.
- SAP/PKMS systems experience.
- Project management experience.
- Six Sigma, TQM, and Lean knowledge.
Reporting Alignment:
- Reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Distribution.
