Job description

The Patient Appointment Coordinator provides clerical support for the Clinic. Acting as a patient advocate at all times, the coordinator is responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, verifies patient insurance eligibility & requirements, handles patients upon check-in and check-out, prepares charts for clinic appointments, enters patient demographic and insurance data into electronic medical record (EMR), handles medical records requests and receipts, scans reports, receives cash and insurance payments, prepares deposits and daily income summaries, and enters daily patient charges.

Requirements:

  • Previous medical front office experience strongly preferred.

Schedule: Per Diem, Days, 0.10 FTE
