Blue Mountain Hospital, located in Blanding, Utah, is seeking a full time Scheduling Coordinator. Blue Mountain Hospital is looking for a candidate for this permanent position who is committed to long term employment.

The Scheduling Coordinator facilitates the scheduling of both new and returning patients. The Scheduling Coordinator obtains all necessary information to ensure timely patient scheduling and maintains the Physician’s schedules to make the most efficient and effective use of their time while maintaining positive patient relations, and representing the practice in a professional, friendly, and patient-focused manner.

This person would be responsible for duties including but not limited to scheduling, answering telephones, confirming patients, assisting patients with scheduling questions, creation of charts and other clerical duties. The Scheduling Coordinator will create and maintain best practices as it pertains to patient scheduling. The Scheduling Coordinator will work with department leaders to ensure that all department scheduling needs are addressed. This person needs to be an independent organized outgoing personality.

Medical field and patient care experience preferred, but not required. To be considered a candidate for this position you must be an independent worker, organized, dependable, attention to detail, computer literate, keep confidentiality, follow directions, and work well with others.
