Our Pre-Health Fellow program is designed for recent college graduates seeking exposure to both administrative and clinical aspects of outpatient healthcare delivery. It is a two-year full-time program, providing rotations through our Reception, Medical Assistant, and Medical Scribe roles, with opportunities for special operations projects, paid clinical skills training (phlebotomy & EKG), and structured physician mentorship. We've designed this to be an enriching and informative experience to mission-driven individuals who are seeking admission to a clinical graduate program. You'll have the opportunity to develop hands-on skills and experience to set you up for success for furthering your education and career all while contributing to our innovative team at our flagship location in Harlem.

As a Pre-Health Fellow, you will:

• Support the operations and medical organizations with a variety of special projects in operational and quality improvement
• Manage the patient schedule for our provider team, ensuring optimal provider utilization and balancing room and space requirements
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring they are adequately organized and stocked for all patient encounters
• Interview patients to collect medical history and vitals, including pulse, height, weight, and blood pressure
• Perform blood draws, EKGs, and vision and hearing screening
• Collect and process lab specimens for testing
• Assist our physicians during patient examinations and in-office procedures
• Coordinate follow-up care
• Address current (and prospective) patient inquiries through phone and email, and providing guidance around Juno services, policies, and appointment availability

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate from four year college or university program
• Intent to pursue a career as a clinician with planned matriculation in two years
