Position Summary:

The Process Technician is responsible for determining best process conditions for all jobs, implement new systems, develop and provide training for technical personnel and to follow procedures and embrace new technologies

*** Must have experience as a Process Technician in Injection Molding

3rd shift- 11p-7am Monday through Friday

***This shift includes a shift differential of $ 2.50 on top of base pay

Qualifications:

Required:

· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization

· Working knowledge of production and the plastic injection molding process

· Mathematical skills related to time reduction, plant efficiencies, SPC and problem solving

· Analytical skills and mechanical aptitude

· PC experience

· Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude

· Organizational skills and maintain good attendance

Training (performed on-the-job):

· Continuous education and training is expected (where practicable)

· SPC Training

· Orientation Checklist

· System Procedure Training

· QAD Training

Responsibilities:

· Treat all internal and external contacts with uncompromising respect and integrity under all circumstances.

· Seek means to improve processes and reduce rejects and overall production time.

· Represent production in FMEA's and other production meetings as assigned.

· Supervise initial set-up of new tools and determine set up parameters for new jobs and provide documentation.

· Maintain set up documents in computer system.

· Collect SPC data and coordinate implementation with Quality Assurance Dept.

· Perform set up, material handling, or supervisory duties when required.

· Ensure all assigned operations conform to corporate health and safety regulations.

· Maintain a smooth flow of communication between production and other related departments.

· Assist with the training of set up & material handling personnel, as needed.

· Effectively interface with personnel having a variety of technical and/or management background.

· Follow company safety procedures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of others.

· Attend team meetings to promote team building.

· General housekeeping to keep the work area and plant clean.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
