What We Need:

We are seeking a experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk; develop systems to manage safety and quality assurance on site; coordinate installers, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors; and monitor their work to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets. You will also provide technical assistance to contractors, and report on progress to owners, project developers, and financial partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and develop the team.
  • Develop/foster relationships with customer representatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the project(s) bidding stage: Estimate generation and estimate breakdown/analysis, drive/host internal bid review and proposal submissions.
  • Oversee project creation: Contract and schedule review, implement project controls, systems and processes, drive project kick-off meetings, align resources and set expectations/goals.
  • Ensure detailed plans are in place for projects. Includes project sequencing work, & efficiency.
  • Develop and track CPM schedules.
  • Work Directly with the purchasing department on procurement.
  • Develop and communicate a material procurement plan to Purchasing Dept.
  • Coordinate all aspects of project mobilization and demobilization.
  • Manage sub-contracts and sub-contractors.
  • Monitor/review daily project reports, and provide direction as needed.
  • Monitor projects efficiency & productivity, material budgets, and other job expenses.
  • Attend weekly field project status meeting with the project team.
  • Weekly update the client with project status.
  • Attend quarterly meetings with upper management to discuss financial performance.
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate billing.
  • Attend weekly company sales/project meetings.
  • Oversee Change Order Management process; Generate Change Orders, managing logs.
  • Drive/host project closeout/lessons learned meeting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic systems
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields preferred.
  • Able to execute and deliver results on multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Can easily understand and communicate technical information.
  • Read/comprehend blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts.
  • Work independently within team-based culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
