FUNCTION
The Promotional Marketing Specialist will assist in a variety of marketing efforts as it relates to promotional events, signage needs and other administrative projects as needed. This will include overall support of the Marketing Director and Manager with projects relating to execution and documentation of each promotion and providing guests with the highest quality experience.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate assigned gaming related promotions and special events including the planning, organizing and coordination of events and drawings within the facility to meet contractual obligations and the highest quality possible of guest service.
- Coordinates all aspects of onsite promotions and special events including but not limited to support of emcee drawings, purchase of promotional items, giveaways and special events via microphone system to both small and large live audiences.
- Responsible for writing and distributing information on promotional marketing initiatives to internal departments.
- Work with cross-functional departments within the property on promotional support.
- Responsible for reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns as assigned, including Data Entry projects.
- Proof read promotional materials that go to public view.
- Coordinate with outside vendors on promotion needs for executing on-site promotional events.
- Direct support staff, contractors and vendors as necessary to successfully accomplish the promotions and special events.
- Responsible for set-up of promotional games including kiosks and drawings.
- Coordinate event needs with Food & Beverage, IT, Security, Players Club and other requested services offered.
- Assist with promotions and events as needed, coordinate’s assigned special projects for Marketing including miscellaneous community outreach, event coordination and execution and other assigned projects.
- Responsible for all on-property signage and video screen content coordination.
- Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to guests.
- Develop and build relationships with guests through excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional guest service.
- Escort Entertainment to/from Back of House Areas for Lobby and Sports Bar as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or similar or three years of experience in the event or customer service field preferred.
- Design experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Products.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.

Experience
Required- Strong computer skills with a fundamental knowledge of email marketing platforms is required.
