The Quality Control Manager is required to develop, implement, manage and maintain effective Quality policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing, implementing, managing and maintaining effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements. Will prepare, maintain, enforce, and update QC plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2015 standards across the program and compliance with ISO 14001 standards in all areas. Responsible for all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls. Therefore, the individual must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment. Three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations is also required. These can be concurrent time periods. Must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with applicable ISO Standards. Must possess broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and the ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise or promote improvements in logistical programs. Must have the ability to: establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress; establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on-going quality process improvements; conduct root cause/corrective action analysis. ISO 9000 Lead Auditor qualification preferred; knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Shall have a Bachelor Degree in a related discipline and three years’ experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment. Must also have three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs. ISO 9000 Lead Auditor qualification is preferred.
