Job description
A healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assess symptoms, plan interventions, implement treatment plans, evaluate responses to interventions, and revise care plans based on overall effectiveness. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
- Document the care provided and the patient’s progress toward the desired outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the plan of care and how to manage care after discharge.
- Administer medications to patients as needed/directed.
Qualifications:
- An ASN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
- Active RN license.
- 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in critical care or PACU.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Additional info:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Hours; 11a-7p, with some flexibility.
- Pay; $35-50/hr., depending on experience + shift differentials.
