Day-to-Day of our RF Engineer:

You will be part of a tightly integrated team that designs and develops printed circuit boards that perform critical RF and digital acquisition and processing functions using powerful FPGA/ARM processors.

Of particular importance is the ability of the circuit hardware designs to accommodate different platform interface requirements while supporting intensive algorithm processing without compromising performance.

You will help develop, implement, test and document optimized circuit board design/layouts including preparing schematics and parts lists for procurement. You will work closely with our software, firmware and production teams to integrate functionality and conduct performance verification. You will also have opportunities to participate in program reviews with US Government officials.

You will have the option of working either at our Lone Tree, CO headquarters in the metro-Denver area or our Colorado Springs office. Your travel outside of CO will limited to a few times a year at most.

What you will be doing:

• Support requirements/feasibility analysis and perform development board prototype evaluation
• Component and/or custom circuit design research (e.g. RF clocks, amplifiers and filters as well as digital processing FPGA/ARM processor and memory interfaces, etc.)
• Design PCB layout and release designs for fabrication/assembly
• Generate schematics and PCB netlist
• Power up and test newly assembled PCBs; identify and correct performance problems
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and changes for next pass

To be Successful:

· Strong technical background RF and digital board design and layout

· Significant PCB CAD tool experience

· PCB fabrication knowledge

· Experience with checking design rules

· Excellent written communication skills

· Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and hold a SECRET-level security clearance

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
