Overview:
In operation for more than 50 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for 14 affiliated regional healthcare centers and for our own 23 medical imaging centers. In addition, University Radiology serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year providing 24/7/365 coverage/interpretation services.
University Radiology is currently seeking an experienced RIS Support Level 1 to work a part-time temporary position in our East Brunswick, NJ Business Office.
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 2:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm

New increased rate structure!
University Radiology is currently seeking an experienced RIS Support Level 1 to work a part-time temporary position in our East Brunswick, NJ Business Office.
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 2:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Duplicate Patient merge
- Patient Portal support
- Helps with updating database tables and logs
- Check completed work for accuracy
- Verify data and correct data where necessary
- Provides responses to internal clients and vendors in a timely manner
- Approaches problems with a “can do” attitude
- Listens to others and readily accepts orders from manager and input from team members
- Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional
- Pro-actively seeks input from mentors and supervisors.
- High school diploma
- Formal computer training is an advantage
- Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office and MS Excel
- Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
- Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
