AEYON POSITION TITLE: Schedule Analyst

LOCATION: Huntsville – Space Launch System Program - NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (Huntsville, AL)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The scheduler will provide support to the MSFC (Marshall Space Flight Center).

• Develop, maintain, analyze, and report on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Create Summary Schedules that communicate and summarize the detailed IMS.
• Attending key project meetings to discuss and review schedules.
• Develop, status, and report schedule performance and metrics.
• Develop and analyze schedule workarounds.
• Interact with senior engineers and project personnel at NASA.

• Knowledgeable of product-oriented Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and able to advise projects on how to best structure their WBS and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to facilitate EVM integration and rollup.
• Use Agile methodology to plan out software development activities.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• NASA experience preferred.
• Desired 15 years combined work experience. Minimum of 5 years of “hands-on” CPM Scheduling experience that includes schedule analysis.
• Desire a minimum of five (5) years prior NASA or aerospace experience.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. Government background investigation.
• Experience using software like Milestones Professional, Onepager Professional, SharePoint, and Excel is highly desired.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
• Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) is a plus.
• Desired Scrum Master certification

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work Environment- Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (5% of the time).
• Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
• Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside the normal schedule and adjust the schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
• Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
