Job description

We provide licensed security guards and event staff to venues throughout New York City and Long Island. Our Scheduling Coordinator would schedule and help manage the staff sent to various locations in this area.

Job Duties:

  • Establishes, maintains, and reviews schedules for security personal at all locations
  • Works closely with senior management to develop consistent staffing plans
  • Makes sure all staff have reported to work and clock into shift
  • Contacts and redeploys staff to fill call outs during event hours
  • Handles all schedule changes and client requests for guard changes
  • Responds to emails, texts and cell phone calls from security officers and responds appropriately in a timely fashion
  • Documents all personnel issues and immediately initiates disciplinary actions for those in violation of Company policy (coordinating with site supervisors and managers to provide a clear disciplinary course of action)
  • Identifies staffing needs of various posts and communicates this information to recruiter on a regular basis
  • Coordinates with management to ensure all site procedures are being adhered to
  • Reviews daily timecard punches to ensure accuracy for billing and payroll
  • This role will require travel to our headquarters in Long Island (off the LIRR) for training and meeting purposes in addition to venue site inspections and check ins throughout NYC and Nassau County

Skills/Experience:

- 1 year experience scheduling coordination or similar administrative responsibilities

- Excel is a must

- General knowledge of social media and the internet

- Know of or have the ability to learn Deputy scheduling app, ADP payroll platform

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
