Clearing is a digital healthcare platform built to serve the 50M chronic pain sufferers in the United States. The Senior Business Recruiter will be responsible for running end to end recruiting processes for a wide variety of roles including but not limited to sales, marketing, operations, finance, and clinical. Our ideal candidate is excited about helping to grow and growing with an early stage, mission-driven company. They also recognize the growing pains and process improvements they will need to overcome along the way. Your role is critical as you will be building a team that is changing the way chronic pain is treated, and ensuring excellent candidate and employee experiences along the way. What You'll Do:

  • Work directly with the Talent & People Manager to develop and execute on headcount plans, with an eye for process improvement and efficiency
  • Source, screen, interview, and close best-in-class candidates for a variety of high-priority roles
  • Maintain accurate reporting and systems for hiring and onboarding, working with the rest of the People Team to ensure recruitment processes are clearly documented and standardized across the company
  • Contribute to building a talent brand to attract and retain top talent including public pages, placement in outside publications and potentially attending events
  • Develop and maintain high standards for interview quality and candidate experience
  • Collaborate with Talent & People Manager and Executive Team on compensation plans, benefits, leveling, and organizational design
  • Work with the rest of the People Team to optimize the transition from candidate to employee
  • Ensure company core values are instilled into every step of the recruiting process
  • Suggest ways to make Clearing a better place to work!

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience working within recruiting
  • At least 1+ years of in house recruiting experience; additional agency experience is a strong plus
  • Understand of applicant tracking systems, such as Greenhouse
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates for a broad range of roles, using tools such as Gem, LinkedIn, and industry / domain specific job boards
  • Prior experience working on sales, marketing, and operations roles
  • Experience standing up recruiting processes for "evergreen" or "rolling" roles – Can you build a recruiting machine for the scaling roles we'll always have open?
  • Understanding of startup compensation and how to talk to candidates about long term upside of stock options
  • Growth mindset and the ability to learn quickly in a high-growth environment; everyone makes mistakes – how quickly can you recognize it, take responsibility, and fix it?
  • Experience creating processes for things like job intake, role approval, etc
  • History of creating team documentation for employees outside of the people team, ideally using tools like Coda or Notion
  • Excellent communicator who can effectively manage multiple stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality, and detail oriented when it comes to offer letters and other important documents
  • The mindset that Recruiting is in many ways the face of the company, and you should act accordingly in all externally facing communications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment is a must
  • Team player, ready and eager to assist with any project - no task is too small!

  • Prior experience at a recruiting agency as well as in house
  • Experience with clinical recruiting
  • Broad experience recruiting across different departments, with a specialty
  • Past work experience with a very small people team
  • Recruiting analytics and reporting experience
  • Experience creating interview training materials
  • Experience with developing and rolling out Diversity Equity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Excitement about potentially helping out on the People Operations front as needed

Salary is based on experience, location, market value and other factors. Overall compensation packages at Clearing include salary pay, benefits, generous time off and other perks. Base salary range for this role is $90-120k. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
