SSA Group is looking for a talented Senior People Coordinator to join our People Department!


Senior People Coordinator

Location: Remote but will need to be in a state that SSA operates

Reports to: Senior People Coordinator reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager


Are YOU the perfect addition to our team? SSA Group is looking for a Senior People Coordinator to partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and other colleagues to engage and recruit top talent through the lens of equity, inclusion, and diversity. You will play a critical role in executing recruiting strategies for positions across multiple business groups company wide. A key focus in your role will be to lead our vendor management system in ensuring all requisitions are acknowledged and filled ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting Support & ATS/VMS Support
  • Work closely with direct report in helping design and implement overall recruiting strategy in vendor management system and creating/maintaining pipelines
  • Lead in execution and maintain requests through vendor management system to ensure all requisitions are met and executed
  • Consult with in and out of unit managers to discover staffing needs and specific job objectives
  • Collaborate with internal employee resource groups to recruit candidates in terms of equity, inclusion, and diversity
  • Support the day-to-day hourly recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, assisting in shortlisting, cold contacting, perform phone/virtual screens, and comprehensive candidate reference checks?
  • Work closely with People Dept team to identify and recommend opportunities for improving candidate experience and inefficiencies
  • Stay up to date with current recruiting methods
  • Able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of People Dept projects and operations are completed?Provide timely and reliable employee, management, and People Department support
  • Assist and support other HR functions and processes, including performance management, training & development, legal and regulatory compliance, payroll and other HR processes, programs, and initiatives?
  • Research as needed and support other assigned functions?within People Department
  • Attend job fairs and career events to assist in recruitment for underrepresented populations
  • Support new account transitions through recruitment and onboarding. Some travel may be required depending on the needs of the business.?

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiting coordinator or recruiter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Solid knowledge of individual state hiring policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate management system, and vendor management system
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn


PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years experience working in an HRIS/Payroll system
  • 2-3 years or more in Human Resource or People Management experience (can coincide with operational management role)
  • 1 years in operational management in the hospitality sector (Food, Retail, Convention Center, Cultural/Iconic Attraction, Hotel) necessary
  • Add education backgrounds accepted, must be 18 years or older
