Trimlite is looking for a Shipping Clerk. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for recording and printing shipping orders on the computer system, organizing orders by date and customer, track shipments to and from a variety of locations.
To be successful as a Shipping Clerk, you must be able to multitask. A good Shipping Clerk ensures that all items are printed, labeled, and recorded appropriately in preparation for transport.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Print orders and organize for pull and distribution.
- Manifest Orders for drivers to load and deliver.
- Using computer software to organize product by customer
- Label package with all vital information.
- Monitor inventory and inform Manager as more units are needed.
- Keep the working area clean and neat.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Prior experience in manufacturing, or a relevant field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Organized with Attention to Detail
- Must have physical dexterity
- Ability to multitask
- Team player
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred (Not Required)
- Five years of experience in materials control field or another related field required. (Experience Would be Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate the production facility as needed.
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs. frequently, 75 lbs. occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
