Team & Role:
BNY Mellon | Pershing’s Institutional Solutions team focuses on bringing the most stable and trusted global clearing infrastructure in the marketplace to Broker-Dealers, Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, and Asset Managers. As a key member of our Broker Dealer Account Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing assigned client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, swift response to client needs, efficient problem resolution, contract and operational compliance, risk mitigation and KYC responsibilities.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
Proactively consult core, large, complex client accounts, ensuring continued client satisfaction and listening for cues on client needs, as well as advising clients on best practices, organizational solutions and regulatory changes
Track and report on client metrics; contribute to the identification and development of appropriate metrics
Act as day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients
Collaborate with Relationship Managers to enhance the account strategy
Stay abreast of clients’ account activity occurring throughout the firm; liaise with relevant Operations contacts (internally and externally) to coordinate service to clients
Directly manage client inquiries and resolve problems
Deepen your understanding of the business environment of assigned clients, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings
Contribute to the development/enhancement of the Account Management function

You will also partner with colleagues across the broader Institutional Solutions team and BNY Mellon | Pershing enterprise to build breadth of knowledge on the firm's products/services and gain exposure to increasingly complex client accounts and issues.

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
7-10 years of total work experience (preferred)
Experience in Account Management or Client Service Delivery is preferred
Strong understanding of the broker dealer world is a plus
FINRA Series 7 preferred

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $63,000 and $140,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
