We are now hiring for an immediate opening for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst ! This position will participate in designing solutions related to demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain and operations network planning to support a growing business. Working with our external customers to identify needs, define and frame issues and develop detailed project plans.
Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze shortfalls in core customer KPIs (fill rate, scrap, expediting costs, etc.) to determine root causes and recommend process improvements
  • Manage portfolio changes – i.e. new product introductions, product conversions – between Customer and Medline Supply Chain teams
  • Monitor reporting to identify and resolve potential stock-out situations. Combine Customer and Medline inventory and demand information to improve visibility and accuracy
  • Develop processes to govern and validate supply chain relevant data. Build KPIs to track their impact
  • Analyze and manage inputs to supply chain systems to optimize service and financial supply chain metrics
  • Identify and manage approved product substitution lists to aide in backorder avoidance processes
  • Analyze demand and inventory trends in both Customer and Medline networks to recommend portfolio optimization opportunities
  • Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities through available technology or process redesign. Enable data driven decision-making
  • Provide documentation of business requirements to Medline technical teams for system and/or reporting enhancements where necessary
  • Serve as a liaison between Customer and various Medline teams in issue resolution and ongoing improvement initiatives

*Qualifications*

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Science
  • At least 4 years of manufacturing operations and/or inventory management experience
  • Experience communicating to groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors, senior managers and the general public
  • Demonstrated experience working on improvement or analysis initiatives
  • Experience working in large Hospital Supply Chain operations preferred

Additional

  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Power Point to facilitate cross functional meetings
  • Experience applying standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems

The minimum base salary for this position is $93,600. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
