Job description
Manage LPS involvement in resource development, interagency collaboration and advocacy on behalf of students and families experiencing homelessness. This position also works with various LPS personnel to provide academic and basic support services for students and families experiencing homelessness. This position is a member of the Federal Programs Leadership Team and supervises two advocates who assist with supporting students and families.
Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or related fields required.
Three years of experience in working with students and families experiencing homelessness and/or students and families facing circumstances of risk preferred. Experience connecting families to school and community supports preferred.
