Reliant Medical Group in Worcester has an opening for a per diem Ultrasound Technologist. This position offers great compensation and flexible hours within a positive, close-knit, team-oriented environment. Weekday and weekend hours are available across all of our imaging sites (Worcester, Southborough, Auburn, Leominster, and more!)



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



This role incorporates all the technical skills associated with ultrasound, including related clerical and service duties.



Performs ultrasound studies, including limited vascular studies, as assigned. Performs routine maintenance of equipment and maintains exam suites in good and appropriate order. Obtains and reviews patient's clinical history and related patient's test reports. Performs related clerical duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
  • Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Competent to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines
  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
