Position: Customer Service Specialist/Receptionist

Location: Honolulu, HI

Experience: At least 1-2 years of customer service experience; Experience in a medical clinic and in holistic care and/or treatment a plus

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Type: Full time or Part time; Temp to Hire

Schedule: To be discussed during interview

Pay: $15-16/hour depending on experience

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking Customer Service Specialist/ Receptionists to join our growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Answer phones
• Book appointments
• Greet patients/get to know our patients
• Pulling patient files and returning them in alphabetical order
• Communication with team continuous during day
• Checking payments and counts of treatment.

Position Requirements:

• Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions
• Excellent customer service, speaking clear and loudly (some geriatric patients), energetic on the phones, greeting patients as they arrive
• Able to clearly communicate in English
• Must be responsible, respectful, reliable, dependable and manage their time wisely
• Have strong problem solving skills and take the initiative to work alongside colleagues in a fast paced environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be able to constantly sit and stand for the entire duration of their shift
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 25+ lbs
• Must physically assist patients with disabilities (i.e., with assistive devices such wheelchairs, canes and walkers)
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must have current 2 step TB
• Must be able to pass a drug test
