Job Summary:

The VP of Quality is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all accreditation and licensure standards at all times. Coordinates hospital-wide continuing quality improvement activities. Responsible for identification, investigation, analysis, and evaluation of risk and selection of the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing or eliminating identifiable risk. The risk responsibilities as identified by the CEO. Responsible for medical Staff activities, credentialing, and leadership. Responsible for ensuring Infection Control activities are compliant. Reports the activities of the Quality program to the Medical Staff, Leadership Team, and the Board of Trustees.

Qualifications

  • RN license preferred
  • CPHQ, CPPS preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, graduate from an accredited RN or other healthcare related field
  • Minimum of 5 years health care experience with a focus on Quality Management, performance improvement, and/or Risk Management in a supervisory and/or management capacity required
  • Thorough knowledge of Quality Assessment and Improvement, Medical Staff Credentialing, Medical Terminology, and must possess fundamental knowledge of hospital regulatory requirements, standards of Joint Commission, CMS, and other State and Federal Regulations

  • FTEs : 1.0 – 1 FT


  • Minimum of 5 years Management Experience or Director level health care experience with a focus on Quality Management, performance improvement, and/or Risk Management in a supervisory and/or management capacity required


CMO is comfortable in having someone that has Management Experience or Director level experience but must be an RN and CMO is willing/open to training if needed

  • BSN is required

** Must have acute care hospital experience

  • Reports to Facility CEO

Salary Range MIN: $118 K MID: $148K + Based on years of experience

**Incentive Bonus of up to 15%

Sign On Bonus: up to $20K

Relocation Assistance: Yes, if needed can be requested
