Village Caregiver - Part time
Wage Compensation: Starting at $14.00
Must be willing to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 within 45 days of hired.
Minimum of 2 shifts per week
Shift: 8am - 12pm and 12pm - 4pm
Weekend rotation requirement
Caregivers should expect to work weekends and, possibly, some holidays.

The Village Care Program will provide Homemaking, Errand and Companion services at both Westminster Village and in client homes within the greater Lafayette community. Tasks may include: housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, grocery shopping, laundry service, entertainment activities, running errands, and transportation. This position is a part time position. The successful candidate must have some flexibility in available work hours. Up to thirty hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Desire to work with the senior population
- Must have weekend availability
- Positive, cheerful attitude mixed with an abundance of patience and goodwill experience in home health care or long term care
- Flexibility
- Appreciation for helping others
- Valid Indiana Driver's License with proof of insurance
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to clearly communicate in the English language both verbally and in writing
