Job Description

Nevada State College (NSC) invites applications for the position of Academic Advisor. The individual in this position has the opportunity to contribute greatly to the development of an expanding academic advising program that aspires to become a model of excellence for student support. This individual should have an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to collaborate with faculty and staff to improve student success outcomes. Successful academic advisors at NSC are defined by a strong work ethic, innovative spirit, data-driven philosophy, and a desire to contribute to the development of a modern institution in substantive ways. The atmosphere they engender is one of enthusiasm, dedication, camaraderie, and effective collaboration.
