We are looking for a general accountant to join our accounting team to support our Omaha, NE branch! We are seeking an experienced accountant interested in joining a growing company! In this role you will manage the accounting function in our Omaha office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly close for Omaha branch which includes bank reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
• Helps coordinate external audit and/ or review activities which includes internal controls as well as tax returns
• Performs regulatory reporting requirements on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Assist with account’s payable function
• Completes deposit related tasks and coordinates accounts receivable efforts
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to various internal groups at Ryan Lawn & Tree

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA designation preferred
• 10+ years experience in accounting or related field
• Proficient in GAAP accounting
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
• Technical aptitude
• Experience navigating various business systems to support customer inquiries
• Openness to additional responsibilities
• NetSuite Experience a plus
