We are looking for a new Assistant Apartment Manager to join our Arc team. This position is a little different from what you're probably thinking when you picture an assistant apartment manager. Here are the details so we can catch up up to speed:
In this position you get to support individuals with disabilities who live in the Crowhaven Apartments in Nixa, Missouri. This group is active, independent and looking to live their best lives. The Assistant Apartment Manager, with support and guidance from the Apartment Manager, helps make that happen.
Because this is such a hands-on position, on top of the salary you'll make in this position, we'll also include a 1-bedroom apartment and cover the rent and utilities for you! You'll need to be onsite to assist the other tenants from 5 pm on Friday evenings to 6 pm on Sunday evenings. During that time you'll do some of the following:
- implementing and coordinating activities for the residents of Crowhaven
- helping improve self-help skills
- Supporting the individuals as they manage their money
- encourage individuals to have fun and participate in events they enjoy
- empower the individuals to be as independent as they can be
