Assistant Teacher/Floater (Full/Part-Time positions available)

Job Types: Full-time / will consider stable part-time schedules

The Goddard School is a renowned program for children 6 weeks to 6 years. Our mission is to develop each child's natural curiosity and creativity in order to provide a foundation to encourage each child's lifelong love of learning. An Assistant Teacher/Floater at The Goddard School is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment; Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence; Supports each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance; Establishes positive and effective family relations; Ensures an effective program; Responsive to children’s needs; Maintains professional commitment. Additionally, Assistant Teachers are responsible for working together with the entire faculty in implementing their lesson plans.

Assistant Teacher/Floater Qualifications:

· High School Diploma/GED certified

· Be able to help implement lesson plans, training on sight

· Prior classroom experience preferred not required. Will train on sight

· Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

· Strong communication and organizational skills
