Job Description
Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking an associate with at least three years of experience to work with the Tax and Private Wealth practices in its New York office. The associate will join a practice that advises and represents a broad range of high net worth clients and family offices on a full spectrum of tax planning, tax disputes and tax policy matters. The successful candidate will have an excellent academic background and demonstrated interest in federal tax law. Exceptional writing and communication skills are critical. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required. Candidates must enjoy working as part of a team and be able to take responsibility for matters. Skills and knowledge related to advising high-net-worth clients on sophisticated income, estate and gift tax matters are preferred. Must be admitted in NY and in good standing. Current or prior employment with an Am Law 100 firm is a plus.
At least three years of experience, excellent academic background, interest in federal tax lax, exceptional writing and communication skills. Must be admitted in NY and in good standing.
