Job Title: Clinical Supervisor, Intensive Behavioral Health Services

FLSA: Exempt

Reports To: Operations Director of IBHS

Department: Intensive Behavioral Health Services

Summary:

The goals of the Clinical Supervisor of Intensive Behavioral Health Individual Services (IBHS) are to provide clinical expertise in the areas of therapeutic and behavioral needs to both staff and IBHS individuals served. The Clinical Supervisor of IBHS collaborates with the Administrative Supervisor of IBHS to ensure that all IBHS regulations outlined in Department of Human Services Chapter 1155 are followed. The Clinical Supervisor will be the primary clinical contact for the IBHS program by planning training, providing clinical supervision, and clinical record oversight for the IBHS program. The Clinical Supervisor will apply their specific knowledge and expertise of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, Trauma Informed Care, and Evidenced Based Treatment models to assist staff in developing and delivering appropriate and individualized treatment programs for identified individuals.

The Clinical Supervisor is a leadership position combined with billable time. The Clinical Supervisor will act in the role of Behavior Analyst, Behavior Consultant-ABA, Mobile Therapist, or other identified billable role as needed, and to fulfill billable responsibilities.The Clinical Supervisor meets the qualification 5240.12.b (Individual Services) and/or 5240.81.b (ABA) under OHMSAS IBHS regulations and fulfills clinical director responsibilities as needed.

In addition to the details and requirements listed below, Folium, Inc. expects the employee to be committed to incorporating principles of trauma-informed care in all areas of service delivery. Commitment to these principles in trauma treatment will be required through attendance in training and the use of identified evidence-based practices. Trauma-informed care includes cultural sensitivity and emphasizes a safe and respectful environment for all clients and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain clinical oversight of identified IBHS program.

Ensure completion of clinical supervision as determined by the regulations, including frequency and modality,face to face individual supervision for each IBHS employee, on-site supervision for each direct care staff supervised.

Maintain accurate documentation of all completed supervision sessions

Be available to provide clinical consultation to staff via processing/calls during work hours including weekends and evenings

Review and sign off on all IBHS Individual Services and/or IBHS ABA treatment plans per DHS regulations. Request treatment plan revisions when indicated.

Ensure records are reviewed for clinical quality.

Assist with interviews, and complete new hire training/orientation as part of the onboarding process.

Complete a portion of billable time as needed per program requirements.

Demonstrates commitment to professional growth by attending all required meetings, training, and organizational training;

Develop cooperative relationships with community agencies that will facilitate treatment services provided to all clients;

Maintain an active valid driver's license issued by the state in which they reside and must immediately notify their supervisor or Human Resources if their license is suspended or revoked for any reason.

Candidate will have to successfully complete and maintain certification of ESPI training. ESPI techniques are only used in compliance with Folium policy and procedure and within guidelines established by third-party experts in the proper and legal use of ESPI.

May perform other special projects or duties as requested by the Directors and/or Chief Operations Officer.

Qualifications:

IBHS INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

Minimum of one year full-time post-graduate full-time experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults AND one of the following:

Licensed in PA as MD, Phd, PsyD, LPC, LMFT, CRNP with MH Cert, or LCSW OR

Licensed as BSL, LSW, or other PA License that includes the scope of practice overseeing the provision of IBHS and has completed direct service practicum.

IBHS ABA SERVICES

Minimum of one year full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of direct mental health services to children, youth, or young adults AND one of the following:

Licensed in PA as MD, Phd, PsyD, LPC, LMFT, CRNP with MH Cert, or LCSW OR

Licensed as BSL, LSW, or other PA License that includes the scope of practice overseeing the provision of IBHS and has completed direct service practicum.

Licensed in the state of PA as a physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered nurse practitioner with a mental health certification, clinical social worker, social worker, behavioral specialist or other professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services AND have one of the following:

A certification as a BCBA or other graduate- level certification in behavior analysis

A graduate degree or graduate certificate in ABA from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the US Dept. of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation

OR

As of October 19, 2019, be a licensed psychologist in PA and have a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in providing clinical oversight of an ABA program and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved by the DHS or provided by continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Working Conditions:

General office setting within the IBHS Office is the current base of operations for this position. When completing billable time, work setting may be a school, home, or community location. Clientele may at times be verbally or physically abusive.
