Potential Inc. seeks a dynamic, dedicated Behavior Consultant to join our team of professionals providing services to our clients in Northeast Philadelphia. You will supervise client cases to ensure the highly effective implementation of ABA services while providing support to clinicians working one-on-one with clients/students across a variety of settings. This is a managerial position with direct reports.

Work/life balance is important to us.* As a Behavior Consultant with Potential, we require 25 billable hours per week. Caseloads are deliberately kept at a manageable level of 4 - 5 day clients and 1 - 3 afternoon clients for an average caseload of 7 clients. You'll supervise between 2 - 4 RBTs, which entails two thirty-minute meetings per month. We offer the opportunity for quarterly bonuses if increased billable hours are desired.

Job Responsibilities*

  • Develop and oversee treatment programs, including behavior and skill acquisition programs.
  • Train and supervise staff in the implementation of programs and skill acquisition.
  • Conduct assessments, including functional analysis.
  • Observe clients and staff across settings.
  • Participate in professional development activities (supervise RBTs, maintain BCBA certification and state requirements for licensure).
  • Conduct new client intakes.
  • Collaborate with families and other providers (i.e. wraparound, doctors, schools, and insurance companies).
  • Promote a culture/climate of open communication, collaboration, and share accountability for operations and delivery of quality programs and services.

Job Requirements*

  • Must have PA Behavior Specialist License
  • Must pass mandatory background checks
  • Required by Philadelphia city guidelines to be vaccinated for Covid-19
  • If you have a medical or religious exemption, you will be required to provide us with documentation of your exemption from your doctor or religious institution and to test weekly (PCR) or twice per week (antigen) at your own expense
  • Must be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM with some occasional evenings for parent support
  • Must be physically able to keep up with active children
