Requirement and Qualifications

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Arrives to work on time as scheduled in a clean, full uniform

· Maintains neat and organized work areas; to include sweeping, mopping, and detailed cleaning as needed

· Accomplishes end of shift side work; ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled BOH Team Member

· Maintains menu knowledge and follows recipes to uphold specifications and perfect presentation of every item served

· Notifies Management immediately of any potential problem, including long ticket times

SAFETY AND SANITATION

· Washes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift

· Wears and changes gloves between each task and often during the shift

· Maintains a clean and sanitized workstation throughout the shift

· Ensures all food is maintained at required temperature zones

· Adheres to proper stacking order, rotation, and labeling of food

· Adheres to cross-contamination and allergy standards

· Conducts a Quality Line Check daily of his/her station

TEAMWORK AND ATTITUDE

· Always communicates positively with FOH and BOH Team Members

· Maintains a high level of communication with other Team Members and Management to keep one another informed

· Supports other stations and areas of the BOH as needed. 4 Wall Theory – everything within the 4 walls of the

restaurant is every Team Member’s responsibility.

· Sets up Team Members for success when closing station and at shift change

GUEST SERVICE

· Adheres to all service standards that create MAH “Raving Fans”

· Works directly with both BOH and FOH Team Members to ensure all Guest requests are accommodated quickly

· Maintains awareness throughout the shift and drives specified ticket times

· Ensures all food is served at the highest quality, hot food hot and cold food cold

SKILLS & EDUCATION

· Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team

· Basic reading skills and the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to handle highly stressful situations

· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

BOH Team Members are expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:

· Remain standing for extended periods of time in a work area that has an elevated air temperature

· Reaching, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting, up to 50 lbs., for short distances

· Solid communication skills in order to exchange accurate information to Team Members and Managers.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
