Job description
- Compounder – schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Position is temp to hire.
- Prepare batches of raw materials for production processing according to specifications and established procedures.
- Obtain materials from chemical staging area.
- Utilize scales and automated equipment to accurately weigh chemicals.
- Complete all documents and logbooks accurately and in accordance with GMP and GDP.
- Understanding and follows Hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment.
- Assist in the daily cleaning / sanitization of kettles, mixers, utensils, and compounding rooms.
Requirements
- Have compounding/blending experience in manufacturing facility, cosmetic and pharmaceutical preferred.
- Have and maintain a good attendance and on time record.
- Have high attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work overtime
- Basic math skills
