Deployment Specialist (Hybrid), in
Washington DC.
What You Will Do
As a Deployer this individual will act as a Deployment specialist on a large federal program which has three components: Database, ETL, and API. This individual will support the review and development of system build strategies deployment strategies and deployment models; Exadata Database Server; Oracle 19c; J2EE application in JBOSS on a cluster configuration environment on top of Linux; the external interface of ETL using Enterprise Informatica Platform on top of Unix and Greenplum. Candidate must have a strong background and experience in working in a DevOps environment while creating automation solutions to be included as part of the Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline. Candidate should have demonstrated experience using DRIVE as a deployment tool to promote code to lower and production environments. This individual will work in close collaboration with software developers/engineers’ stakeholders and end users within Agile processes. The candidate will understand Agile software development practices delivering deployable software in short sprints. This candidate needs to have strong demonstrated experience in deploying software using automation tools as part of the CI/CD Pipeline.

Our minimum requirements for this role:
Required
- Demonstrated DevOps experience using CICD pipeline in an agile environment.
- Unix shell scripting Linux VI SQL - able to comprehend DB scripts.
- Demonstrated deployment experience in Oracle 19c running on Linux RAC ASM backup/restore and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated deployment experience in ETL (Informatica) J2EE on JBOSS.
- Experience with Jboss - some knowledge of API Database setup fundamentals (possible oracle RAC).
- Strong knowledge of scheduling tool like control-m/autosys
- Demonstrated experience using Jenkins tool.
- Strong experience using IBM Rational Suite of applications specifically Rational Team Concert (RTC)/Source control.
- Strong experience working in an agile collaborative environment.
- An IRS MBI is prefer.
