URGENTLY SEEKING TO HIRE
No Experience Needed. Paid Training.
Locations: East Meadow, Glen Cove, Kings Point, Malverne, Merrick, Port Washington, and Dix Hills (NASSAU & SUFFOLK COUNTY AREAS)
Seeking: Full Time, Part Time & On-Call
Hours: days, evenings, overnights, weekends
Area of responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals in the areas of personal care, self-care, communication, behavioral modification, personal interaction, and social relationships
- Transport individuals to social and recreational activities, medical appointments, and other destinations as required
- Help with home organization tasks such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, and cleaning
- Follow individuals' daily schedules while implementing all formal goals and protocols
- Collect data such as goals, outings, and progress notes
- Obtain certification for medication administration (AMAP)
- Complete all required training and attend staff meetings
- Complete incident reports as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Valid NYS Driver License with a minimum 1-year driving experience required
- Must be able to operate an Agency Vehicle
- Flexible to work evening and weekend shifts preferred
