Job Description:

The Director of Workforce Development will lead the development and execution of the Froedtert Health system strategy to increase the overall health care workforce by promoting the many pathways available for those entering or advancing in their health care career. The Director will lead the internal career mobility team which promotes internal career pathways and provides resources to assist employees in obtaining their next career within Froedtert Health. This role is also instrumental in developing our partnerships educational institutions and community organizations to create programs which grow the health care work force. The leader will work closely with internal partners such as organizational learning and Diversity Equity & Inclusion team to ensure Workforce development goals and actives align other critical strategies. This position will report to the Executive Director of Talent Delivery and will be an integral member of the work force planning and solutions teams.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years of experience working on talent acquisition, work force development, organization development. Previous work in higher education a plus. Previous experience as a leader of people and or system wide programs including budget responsibility, grant writing and developing deep community connections. A proven record of building strong teams

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Human Services, Communications or a related field is required.
