KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Delivering goods to customers efficiently and quickly • Ensuring the vehicle is neatly packed • Preventing damages and breakages • Supervising and assisting packing, loading and off-loading of materials • Ensuring that daily inspection checks are done to the vehicle by reference to checklist provided • Reporting any defects to supervisor • Ensuring vehicle is washed and cleaned regularly • Ensuring that the correct quantities of goods/materials are supplied to the correct address • Reducing running costs on vehicles by combining trips in the same direction • Ensuring that all delivery notes are signed by the authorized person and filed • Collecting COD monies and hand the correct amount to the person responsible • Assisting with serving customers in the yard when not out on deliveries • To uphold and promote the company values and culture
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Matric/Grade 12 • Code 10 (HV); Code 8 (LV) (<3500 kg) • 2 years relevant experience
