Manages educational activities and programs for all audiences and collaborates with other staff members to ensure that the museum presents its collection in a way that is responsive to the interests and needs of these audiences. Coordinates and directs the allocation of resources to produce educational programs. Participates in the efforts to promote museum programs and build the museum's audience.

• Works collaboratively across museum departments to develop, plan, and implement programs for family, youth, and adult audiences. Manages all organizational aspects (logistics, travel, payment, etc.) and development of related collateral and press materials for programs.
• Oversees general aspects of the visitor experience within the building including wayfinding and ADA access, and consults on the development of interpretive materials created for visitors including audio guides, printed collateral, and didactics.
• Serves as a University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with school and community groups to formulate education and public programs, including traveling offsite when necessary. Works with diverse communities that speak English and Spanish.
• Organizes audience research efforts, and prepares, conducts, and compiles audience survey reports for public programs.
• Assists in the development, implementation and management of programs, content, and training of the visitor's experience staff.
• Develops and maintains knowledge and skills necessary to manage programs registration and attendance data capture using Salesforce.
• Arranges and provides tours for the general public, program partners, featured guests, and others on a regular basis.
• Develops and oversees budgets for programs. Negotiates contracts with outside contractors as needed for programs.
• Performs general administrative duties and department operations, and assists with general program staffing and logistics.
• Develops educational and interpretative materials to support exhibition experience for K-12 audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline and five (5) years' experience in related field or a Master's degree and three (3) years' experience in related field.

• Ability to operate audio-visual production and recording equipment.
