RR Donnelley is looking to add a Electrician/Electronics Tech 3 at our Logan Utah Operations!

The Electronic Technician maintains and repairs all electrical/electronic systems in the facility and sets up new equipment using a combination of job knowledge and test equipment to improve the technology of plant machinery and to keep it in good working condition. Installs, troubleshoots and repairs electronic components of proprietary technology.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Trouble shoots and repairs all electronic systems using a combination of job skills and test equipment to maintain plant machinery and production.
  • Repairs and rebuilds electronic/electrical assemblies using schematics (blue prints), fixtures, and test equipment to decrease outsourcing of repairs and to improve job knowledge.
  • Repairs and installs facility electrical systems using job skills, test equipment, and other tools to keep machinery in good working condition.
  • Installs new equipment using schematics and other tools to improve production methods and machine technology.
  • May include other duties as assigned.

Starting Wage:

  • $23.53/hr

Available Shifts:

  • D Shift - Mon - 5pm -11pm, Fri, Sat & Sun - 5pm - 5am with a $2.00/hr shift differential will train on day shift for several weeks and then move to the D Shift.

Disclosure Statement:

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $23.53 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. Required Skills:

  • 2 years post-secondary education degree or certificate in electronics education, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of extensive electronic and industrial electronic (e.g., AC, DC and Servo drives, PLC, etc.) training with work experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Self-motivation to work on an individual basis.
